cool bash shell trick
You can use Alt+. to insert the last used parameter into bash!
e.g.
$ mkdir audio
$ cd |
Where | is your cursor. Now when you hit Alt+., it'll fill in 'audio'!
You can keep pressing Alt+. repeatedly to cycle through older parameters, too.
