@hook Online + Expansion Pack has the first two Genesis 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘈𝘹𝘦 games. Failing that, and assuming the Capcom Beat-'Em-Up Bundle's options aren't to your liking, the closest thing out there is likely ACA Neogeo 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘬𝘶 2, unless 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘪-𝘍𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳 is something you can tolerate (I can, but it's an acquired taste). If you don't mind top-down action rather than side-view brawling, 𝘝𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘺𝘬𝘦 will scratch the thematic itch like nothing else.
@Zotmeister, great insight. Thanks!
The expansion pack I'm reluctant with, as I don't like the practice. But the others are great tips!
I was looking at Capcom's bundle and the Sengoku series already. I have a few more questions, if you don't mind.
It seems people have mixed opinions on _Sengoku 2_ vs _Sengoku 3_. What're yours?
In the _Capcom_ bundle, which ones would play/feel the most like Golden Axe?
(Also just noticed I have the ROMs on my PC from the Genesis collection)
@hook In all honesty, I haven't played either of those 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘬𝘶 games enough to make a call either way. As for the Capcom games, 𝘒𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 feels more like 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘈𝘹𝘦, but I prefer 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘦.
@Zotmeister, BTW, Koei Tecmo’s _Tecmo Knight_ just got added to the eShop too. That one looks quite oldskool, but also interesting.

@hook On a Tuesday?! Wow! Usually it's Thursday/Friday we get the Arcade Archives release of the week. Played this one on cab back in the day; it's brutal (in more ways than one), but would have been my first suggestion if it was available yesterday XD
@Zotmeister heh, will wishlist it then. I suck at beat'em'ups/brawlers, but they can be fun. I hope one day I will be good enough to "1cc" Fight'n'Rage
@hook You just named the best brawler EVER MADE. I can 1cc normal almost on demand now, but hard has been *juuust* tantalizingly out of reach for me to 1cc with Gal. I'll probably get it eventually, maybe even soon.
@Zotmeister, as a kid I had very limited exp with brawlers (or arcades for that matter), but even to me it's apparent that Fight'n'Rage is clearly a masterpiece of its genre. Extremely technical and flexible.
River City Girls is fun and stylish, but Fight'n'Rage is just on a different level than anything I've seen.
